Brussels Art Nouveau & Art Deco Festival 2018 – possible tour

It has come to the Society’s attention that there is a Brussels Art Nouveau & Art Deco Festival planned in mid-March 2018. Details are not available yet, but there will be an opportunity for groups to book weeks ahead of the general public. In a way the festival is comparable to the Civic Trust Open House scheme with properties not normally accessible being opened to the public. The festival will include many properties that are in private ownership and generally unknown to the public. In addition there will be guided walks, coach tours, exhibitions, concerts etc. It does sound as though it will be of quite special interest.

We are intending to review packages on offer to groups when details are issued in mid-November. If appropriate, we would then assemble a London Art History Society tour based on using Eurostar and the usual Real Holidays package. Dates are likely to be in the period 10th to 18th March, and will be a short tour of probably two nights.

We would normally provide more notice of a future tour but hope this event will interest members.
