E-news bulletin January 2023
SOCIETY EVENTS
Our next lecture, Pieter Bruegel the Elder: peasants, proverbs and landscapes, given by Paula Nuttall will be delivered via Zoom on 6 February at 5pm. Booking is now open.
There are still places available on our next two courses: Whistler, Sickert and the avant-garde, led by Jo Rhymer starting on 6 January via Zoom, and starting on 25 January an in-person course, Carolingian Art and the Carolingian Renovatio, led by Sally Dormer.
London Art History Society Research Fund
When the Society makes an annual surplus from events we donate the proceeds to institutions involved in art and architecture. The Birkbeck Art History Department is a regular beneficiary. Post-graduate students can apply for small grants from the fund to support their research. You can follow this link to find out more from students in receipt of recent awards about how have they have used our donation to support their studies.
