(2-4pm approx.) - Guide: Bespoke Trust Guide
Stanley Picker, an American, was a patron of the arts with a collection of twentieth-century sculpture and paintings. He had a house (late modernist) designed by Kenneth Wood in 1968 and the interior designed by Conran Design Group so that he could display his art collection as he desired. The furnishings and architecture add an extra dimension to the experience of viewing paintings and sculpture by Chagall, Frink, Hepworth, Lowry, Rodin and many others.
Full joining details will be forwarded to participants a week before the visit. This is at the request of the venue because of privacy issues.
There is space for six cars and these places need to be reserved when you book for the visit.
The house is split level, garden and gallery access by steep stairs and therefore this visit is not appropriate for people with limited mobility.
