(11am-1pm ) - Guide: Bespoke Tour
This tour of The Supreme Court visits all three courtrooms and the Justices’ Library. Housed in the neo-Gothic Middlesex Guildhall, opposite the Houses of Parliament, the Court has a rich art collection and offers a rare opportunity to compare portraits of Hugh Percy, 1st Duke of Northumberland, by Thomas Gainsborough and Joshua Reynolds.
A Pop Art design by Peter Blake, with symbols representing the four nations of the UK, carpets Court 1 and a permanent exhibition provides insight into the work and history of the UK’s highest court.
The cost of the tour includes tea/coffee and cake.
Important Information
Upon your arrival there will be an airport-style security check once you have entered into the building, do not bring any sharp or dangerous objects (including nail scissors, penknives etc). Aim to arrive around 15 minutes before 11am and this will give time to pass through security. You could arrive earlier if you wish to use the café or look at the exhibition. We will meet at 10.55am in the corridor you reach after the security check.
