Tintoretto 500 Anniversary Tour to Venice
-
Begins: Saturday 24 November 2018
Until: Wednesday 28 November 2018 - Guide: Dr Carlo Corsato
- Organiser: Study Tours Organiser
Tintoretto was born in Venice in 1518 and we are taking the opportunity to visit the city when they are celebrating this moment with special exhibitions. Our guide is Dr Carlo Corsato, a native Venetian and a specialist in Renaissance art and architecture in Venice and the Veneto. The tour includes a 4* hotel on the Grand Canal in a former Venetian palazzo on a bed and breakfast basis with dinner at selected restaurants on two evenings and lunch on one occasion at Cipriani, and an option to travel by BA from London Gatwick airport. We have reserved a private evening visit to St Mark’s Basilica.
In response to a reception in London in 2016, the group has arranged for a private early evening visit to the Fondazione Querini Stampalia during our stay in Venice. A small additional charge is required for this visit.
Please download and complete the booking form to join this tour. Please contact the study tours organiser prior to making an application, at this stage we need to ensure that flights and a hotel room is available.
