E-News Bulletin February 2025
SOCIETY EVENTS
Our next lecture, Tilman Riemenschneider presented by Thomas Abbott, will take place online on 18 February at 6pm.
There are some places still available for the following events in February:
Architecture of Tate Modern, a study visit on 4 February
Mantua: Art and Patronage of the Gonzaga, a study day led by Paula and Geoff Nuttall on 19 February
God Save the King: celebrating coronations in the Middle Ages, a study day led by Sally Dormer on 26 February
Merry Monarch and Art Lover: Charles II as patron and collector, a study day led by Steven Barrett on 18 March. This study day has been opened to non-members for an additional fee of £10. If you know of anyone who would be interested in attending please contact the organiser, Maggie Stockton, (mags.stock@gmail.com) for further details.
All the above study days are offered as an in-person or a recording-only event.
Please remember that in order to go ahead all our events need to at least break even and therefore we do need members to book as early as possible in order to ensure that events do not need to be transferred online or at worst cancelled.
