E-News Bulletin March 2025
SOCIETY EVENTS
Our next member lecture, The Luttrell Psalter: Decoding a Medieval Masterwork presented by Michelle Brown FSA will take place online on Tuesday 8th April at 6pm.
There are still places on several upcoming study events:
Merry Monarch and Art Lover: Charles II as patron and collector, a study day led by Steven Barrett on Tuesday 18th March.
Imperial Garden Cities: Babylon, Palmyra, Samarkand, Agra, a study day led by Sue Rollin on Friday 4th July.
Please note we are trialling a new short course format with a 2-day study event on American Art in the 1960s presented by Ben Street on Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th June, which is now open for booking.
All the above study days and courses are offered as in-person events at Lettsom House and recording-only events.
The Foundling Museum and Exhibition – Self Made: Reshaping Identities, a study visit guided by Lucy Shanahan on Thursday 3rd April.
Many of us find booking far in advance challenging however please remember that in order to go ahead all our events need to at least cover their costs. Therefore we do need members to book as early as possible in order to ensure that events do not need to be transferred online or at worst cancelled.
